Here is my go-to recipe for a warm golden turmeric latte (extra on the HYGGE effect.)

As you probably know by now, turmeric is amazing for anti-inflammation. I recently learned you need about 3-5 teaspoons daily to reap the benefits. So that’s how much turmeric I add to my latte now. 🙂

Don’t forget to add ground black pepper anytime you use turmeric! It helps activate the turmeric and increases its bio-availability so you’re getting more of that good stuff.

I’ve been reading a book about Adaptogens and I’m completely obsessed. This recipe features adaptagens Sun Potion’s Ashwagandha and cordyceps. Both are known to reduce stress, boost immune system, and overall health and vitality.

 


Ingredients:

2 Cups almond milk or other non-dairy milk (I used my homemade almond milk)

3-5 teaspoons turmeric powder or ground fresh turmeric

1 tablespoon Bulletproof brain octane oil or other coconut oil (healthy fats!)

1 tablespoon Manuka Honey or Raw local Honey

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Ground Black Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Sun Potion Ashwagandha

1/4 teaspoon Sun Potion Cordyceps

optional: ground fresh ginger


Directions:

Combine all ingredients in sauce pan over medium heat, use a whisk to stir until heated/combined. It should thicken slightly and that’s how you’ll know it’s ready.

Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy in a cozy spot 🙂
